Description

Popular singer and movie star Bing Crosby was the host of his own music and variety show for almost 15 years. Known for his pleasant personality and his love of jazz, Bing Crosby attracted many talented musicians and singers to his show. To accompany him and keep him company, he was regularly joined by Jimmy Durante, Bob Hope, and Al Jolson. Other musical guests included Judy Garland, Ethel Merman, Dinah Shore and Les Paul. Philco Radio Time made history when it premiered on October 16, 1946 by becoming the very first pre-recorded radio program ever broadcast. Come and listen to Bing at his best.
Originally Performed on 10/23/1946
